ചിതലെടുക്കും മുമ്പേ കണ്ടെടുക്കണം
മറവിയിൽ മാഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങിയോരെൻ രൂപം
ചിരിച്ചും ചിണുങ്ങിയും നേർത്തൊരോർമയായ രൂപം
ചിന്തകൾ ശബ്ദങ്ങളായി ചോദ്യങ്ങളായുയർന്ന മാത്രയിൽ
മാറ്റിവരക്കപ്പെട്ടൊരെൻ സ്വന്തരൂപം.

തിളങ്ങുന്ന ശിശിരചന്ദ്രനും
ചാറ്റല് മഴയും
മുഖത്തോടു മുഖം നോക്കുമ്പോള്
ഈ മരച്ചുവട്ടില്
നിശ്ശബ്ദമായ ഈ രാത്രിയില്
കൂട്ടിനായി
മുന്പെങ്ങോ കൊഴിഞ്ഞു വീണ
പുഷ്പങ്ങളും ഇലകളും മാത്രം.
