പൊടുന്നനെയീ പാഥേയത്തില്
വെട്ടിവീഴ്ത്തും പുളിമാവ്
പാതി തുന്നിയ പക്ഷിക്കൂട്.
പടര്ന്നു കയറുന്ന തേന്മുല്ല.
വരി തെറ്റി തലങ്ങും വിലങ്ങും
ചിതറിയോടും ചോണനുറുമ്പ്.

മഞ്ഞുതുള്ളി പോലെ മനോഹരമായൊരു
സ്ഫടികമാണു വിശ്വാസം.
ചിലപ്പോളത് കണ്മുന്നിൽ വീണുടയും
ചിന്നിച്ചിതറും.
തകർന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ
കൂർത്തതും മൂർച്ചയേറിയതുമായ ചീളുകളാൽ
മനസ്സ് ആഴത്തിൽ കുത്തി കീറപ്പെടും.
മുറിവിൽ ഉപ്പും മുളകും തേക്കപ്പെടും.
