ഒരു മഴയിലാണ്
നീയെന്നില് നിന്നൊലിച്ചുപോയത്
വലിഞ്ഞുമുറുകിയൊരു ഞരമ്പ്
എന്നുള്ളില്
അപായസൂചന മുഴക്കിയിരുന്നു
എന്നിട്ടും
സൂക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ലെനിക്ക് നിന്നെ

അന്ത്യവിശ്രമത്തിനൊരുങ്ങുമ്പോഴെൻ,
അന്തരംഗമെന്നോടു മന്ത്രിച്ചു.
നിശീഥിനി വന്നണയുമ്പോൾ വാനിൽ,
നിൻ നീർമിഴികൾ നിറയരുതേ.
നിത്യവിശുദ്ധിക്കൊരുങ്ങുമീയാത്മാവിൽ,
നീരജങ്ങളെന്നും വിടർന്നിടട്ടേ.
